Buenos Aires with toddlers
Buenos Aires is a great place to travel with toddlers as there is plenty to do. The city might seem busy and public transport can be full sometimes but taxis are not expensive in the city so it can be easy to get around.
Some of the best activities for toddlers are:
Bring the whole family to “Parque de los niños”
This “children’s park” is one of the best family-friendly things to do in Buenos Aires. It is a park with a small “beach” that looks out onto the river. The kids can play free here and you can also play basketball, table tennis or volleyball. There are also playgrounds and you can also take your bicycle or go rollerblading.
☝️ Pro tip!
The park turns into a beach in summer and gets very crowded so it might be better to visit at other times of the year if you don’t like crowds.

Centro Cultural Kirchner
This is the new cultural venue in Buenos Aires. We visited recently during the winter holidays and there were a lot of activities for children.
There was an upstairs space where children and teenagers were creating magazines and producing music. For the rest of the year expect art, music, cinema, book fairs and all sorts of cultural exhibitions.

The Children’s museum
This is a great museum located on the second floor of the Abasto shopping center. You have plenty of things for children to do including pretending to be adults by doing their shopping or going to the dentist. There is also a chance for them to be a T.V or radio star.
